It seems that the game’s development team may have included a few hints regarding the game’s future into the latest Sims 4 DLC. The most recent Sims 4 expansion pack was The Sims 4 Cats.
The Sims 4 Next Expansion Pack 2019
Players recently received an email containing survey questions about potential expansion packs in The Sims 4, pointing to a variety of possibilities in the game's future content.
A photo gallery on Sims VIP shows an extensive list of questions about a number of possibilities: a City Living expansion, Business Owner pack, and Supernatural content. The latter could contain features that allow players to create vampires, elementals, and 'even supernatural friends to help you around the house.'
Players were then shown follow-up details about the expansion packs they provided feedback for. After answering the question about the Supernatural Expansion Pack, for instance, users were shown potential features based on the concept. These included the ability to stalk, charm and persuade other Sims after turning into a vampire, spirits that haunt players and steer the story into unexpected territory, and the ability to assemble monsters that later come to life. Think: Dr. Frankenstein's creation.
None of these features or packs are confirmed, or even officially planned, but the surveys suggest EA is tapping player opinion to decide what to include in future content. In IGN's The Sims 4 review, we lauded the game's new creation tools, but felt that the lack of content prevented the extensive play hours that the franchise is known for.
